Privacy policy
This policy explains what the Trivara Cart Shopify app ("the app"), made by Trivara Logistics, collects and how it is used. Last updated 19 October 2026.
What the app stores
- Your store's Shopify domain and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app.
- The cart settings you save: colours, texts, rewards, recommendations and extras.
- The id of the "Trivara Cart rewards" automatic discount the app creates in your store.
What the app does not store
The app keeps no data about your shoppers. The cart itself is Shopify's cart: items, discount codes and order notes are sent by the shopper's browser straight to your Shopify store. A discount code typed in the cart is remembered in that shopper's own browser for the visit only, so it can be applied at checkout.
How it is used
Your settings are written to your store (an app metafield and the automatic discount) so the cart and the rewards work. We use your store's access token only for that, and to check whether the cart is switched on in your theme. Billing is handled by Shopify.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. It is stored on our servers in a private database.
Deleting your data
When you uninstall the app, its access token is deleted straight away and Shopify removes the app's discount and metafields. Your saved settings are deleted when Shopify sends its shop deletion request, 48 hours after uninstall. To ask for deletion sooner, email us.
